Our Time at The Bandari Project

Travelling as a family is one thing, but we also love to slow down and really experience a community. This month we are doing this by volunteering in Mto wa Mbu, Tanzania with The Bandari Project.

The Bandari Project is a not-for-profit organisation that was founded in 2014 by Seif Sakate, who grew up here in Mto wa Mbu. The project aims to break the cycle of poverty through providing free education to vulnerable children, employment to single mothers and training to marginalised women.

Watch to see how we, as a family of 5, are helping out at the project!
